The Supreme Court on Thursday turned down the court's recorder's protest against previous Islamabad High Court judge Shaukat Aziz Siddiqui's appeal against his expulsion from his post, and conceded the case for hearing.

A year ago, the Supreme Court's enlistment center had restored a request recorded by Siddiqui in the best court against his evacuation on the proposal of the Supreme Judicial Council (SJC), saying that it was "not entertainable" because of a trio of complaints.
One of the protests raised by the SC recorder was "that the solicitor is conjuring uncommon purview of the Supreme Court under Article 184(3) of the Constitution for the redressal of an individual complaint, which isn't passable as far as judgment revealed as 1998 SCMR 793 titled as Zulfiqar Mehdi Vs PIA and so forth".
The previous high court judge had tested the recorder's turn and said that it was "an instance of normal welfare" and that "the Supreme Court has had governed in these nature of cases under Section 3 of the Article 184". He called attention to that "the Iftikhar Chaudhry case point of reference is additionally present in such manner".
The previous judge had requested that "the SC enlistment center's protests be put aside and his case be heard in open court".
Siddiqui had been expelled from his situation as high court judge for "showing a lead unbecoming of a judge by conveying a discourse on July 21, 2018 at the District Bar Association Rawalpindi, [and] in this manner [found] liable of unfortunate behavior".
